Fingerprinting is one of the most annoying parts of the Form 1 and Form 4 process. You either pay $10 per form to mail your prints in. Or maybe you pay a big dealer $25 to file every single Form 1 just because they have your prints on file. Or, that local shop which charges $65 to get a copy of your fingerprints (after all, they’re on your hands, right?) on their kiosk.

It’s time to take back your data. Use our service to convert a physical FD-258 fingerprint card into an EFT file for use with the ATF eForms website.

You can deliver us a copy of your completed fingerprint card via email or snail-mail it to us and we’ll do the magic behind the scenes to make sure you never have to send a physical card in again. We’re also happy to send you a kit with everything you need to print yourself and mail the completed cards back to us.

Please be sure that your submitted prints are not smudged and are pressed light enough to see ridges. We may ask you to re-email us prints if they cannot be validated on eForms.

    What You'll Need To Do

    Email Your Prints

    This one is the simplest, fastest option to get your EFT. Just reply to your order email with a high-resolution (at least 600 DPI) scan of your fully completed FD-258 card, and we'll convert it into EFT format for you.

    Mail Your Prints

    If you can't scan your prints in, feel free to snail-mail them instead. Pop them in an envelope (we recommend a USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate envelope) along with your order confirmation email and send them to:

    Once we receive it, we'll scan it in and send you your EFT.

    We'll Mail You A Kit

    This is the full never-leave-your-house treatment. We'll send you a complete kit to roll your own prints. Our kit includes:

    1. (3) FD-258 cards
    2. Ink pad
    3. Alcohol wipe for your fingers
    4. Return label to mail them back.


    Pack up your two best fully completed FD-258 cards and mail them to us. We'll scan them in, convert it to EFT, and email you a copy of your prints.
